Safeguarding
We have a duty of care to ensure all of our children are safe. In school we do this by making sure that everyone who comes into the building is suitable for working with children. We also work hard to minimise risk in the school grounds and building.
If we have any concerns about the safety of a child, we follow the procedures outlined in our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy. This policy can be viewed using the link below, it outlines how we deal with any incidents when we feel that children may not be safe, including how we would act if we were concerned that a child was not safe at home.

All concerns which are brought to our attention are recorded and handed to a Designated Safeguarding Lead [DSL].
The Designated Safeguarding Team at Stanbury Village Primary are:
Mr Graham Swinbourne - Headteacher
Mrs Laura Hadley - Deputy Headteacher
Mrs Fiona Nolan - SENCO
The four documents below have been produced by the UK Government and they give advice and guidance on the safeguarding of children.
If you wish to discuss any matter relating to the contents of any of these documents, please call into school and ask for Mr Swinbourne, Mrs Hadley or Mrs Nolan.
